1 Before the cover material can be applied to the door panel base, small relief cuts are made at the design line to prevent an excessive bulge from the cover material seam when material is wrapped over the edge of the panel board.

2 Holes have been made in the door panel with a 3/8-inch punch at the corresponding marks made by the panel clip template so the wire panel clips can be fastened to the door panel. The hole you used for indexing the door does not get enlarged.

3 It is not uncommon to find stainless in disrepair. The mounting pin on this piece of stainless has rusted away and must be repaired. With some epoxy adhesive and a new pin cut from sheet metal the stainless is like new again.
